i told my whatever-he-is-today that if i lost weight and he suddenly comes over all romantic and flirty, i'd dump his sorry butt SO fast. he simply couldn't understand my point that even though the car model might've switched from gas-guzzler to economy size, it's still the same driver inside!
and yes, he took my point and is trying. "trying to try", shall we say. baby steps.

Re #536... the funniest thing I hear about my weight loss comes from men, often men at the gym whom I've never noticed but who ask me how much weight I've lost. Women will say things to me like "wow, you must have so much energy now!" or "you must be having so much fun buying new clothes!" But men routinely say, "wow, your husband must be SO happy!"

Those are cute, and I definitely agree with making too-delicious healthy recipes and wanting to gobble way more than a serving of them! 'Self control!', I preach to myself, as I chew a piece of gum and refuse to make eye contact with the fridge

Haha! That totally depends on how big or small your husband is! I read this the other day, I thought it quite funny. You married ladies don't have to lose that much weight, just fatten up your hubby .
