Default Modified Medifast?

Does anyone follow a "modified" version of Medifast?
I started on 2/7/12- about a month ago, with the goal of losing about 15 pounds. I lost 7-8 pounds, fairly quickly. The first week I followed the 5&1. Then, I started doing like a 7&1, because I was just too hungry. I still lost 2 pounds per week. I kept at 1000-1100 calories per day. ALL Medifast food & my lean & green.
Then, because I haven't changed my bad eating habits, and I took a liking to Medifast food, I began eating anywhere from 1200-1500 calories per day- but, ALL Mefifast food. I haven't had even one bite of any non-Medifast food except for my lean and green- since starting in Feb.
But, obviously, I didn't lose anything this past week. (I have already placed and received three full orders of food).
I need to get back into it- At least my 1000 calories per day. I don't care if I lose slower- its better for me to be happy and lose slower than to not lose at all, if I can't stick to the 5&1.
I just can't get motivated to get back into it, though. I have only about 6 pounds to lose, and ZERO motivation!
I really love eating Mefifast food, and decided that I want to eat it forever! I feel safe eating it to maintain my weight.
Anyone else do this?
How can I get motivated? I need help.
Thanks.

I actually am afraid that I am now addicted to Medifast food. I love it because I can eat shakes, soft serves, bars, cinnamon pretzels, pudding and oatmeal. I LOVE all of that stuff. I think I just switched eating unhealthy junk food to eating healthy Medifast snacks. I am I'm my high heaven that I can eat this kind if food and not gain weight. This is truly a problem, I believe.

The Medifast foods are for the weight loss program. Some people do keep them around even during maintenance because they are a nutritious, low-cal snack. But it sounds like you are just snacking on them...

I would say that if you are too hungry on the 5+1, split the lean and green meal into two. That way you are eating 7 times a day. The "rules" say you can have an extra shake if you're too hungry... but again, it sounds like you're just snacking on the meals.

You must wait a minimum of 2 hours from one meal to the next, and not more than 3 hours.

If you want to eat 1200 to 1500 calories a day, then you would really do better to follow the transition program and get back into eating "real" food than overeating Medifast meals. Just my opinion.

Yes, I am "snacking" on them. That's the problem. Especially at night. That's when I'm the worst. Sometimes in the afternoon when I'm stressed, or bored at work is another time I tend to "snack" excessively, too. Now that I snack on Medifast food, I feel better, and "safer". Snacking in the afternoons at work and in the evenings at home are how I gained the 15 pounds to begin with. I lost all but 6 of the 15 pounds, but, didn't change my behavior at all, it's just that I'm snacking on Medifast food instead if regular food. I refuse to eat regular food, except my lean and green. This is why I'm afraid I'm addicted to Medifast food. I fear this may be addictive behavior.
I should think about transition, I know. Even though I say I want toneat Medifast food forever, eventually I'll have to eat regular food, and I'm so afraid that my body will be in shock, and gain everything back. I mentioned this to my coach, and she told me that I need to lose all my weight before I think about transition.
Well, it's a new day, and I'm going to try again today to stick to my diet.

Got to stick to the plan for it to work it's magic. If you are snacking a lot you are basically not changing any of your eating habits. Hard I know but you have to truly want to change your lifestyle and this diet is restrictive.
