Default How long until someone notices & clothing is lose?

I have now lost my first 20lbs and I am really looking forward to someone noticing & my clothes being to big. Neither has happened yet.....

So how many pounds lost until you went down a size in clothing and someone noticed your weight loss?

I can't see any difference myself looking in the mirror. My jeans still fit fine around my stomach but I think they may be looser in the legs/butt area.

Around 25lb down. Pants still fit the same (all mine are stretchy anyway so it was hard to tell) but my shirts fit a bit better and the front looked a little less lumpy.

Do you take pictures? I didnt notice any change looking in the mirror, but I did notice changes when I looked at pictures.

Holy crap I'm in the 100s lb club! I am so sorry I didn't even notice! Ignore me LOL

While I did not have 100lbs to lose... just 80...but I think that's close enough to count. My weight loss was not noticeable up until 30lbs loss. Suddenly at that point, everyone took notice and my clothing started to really become loose.

I think it was some where around 30lbs that I could really tell my clothes were getting to big. A lot of what I wore had some stretch to it so it was sometimes hard to tell, but then I started to try on things that had not fit in a long time and they fit great so I really knew my body was changing. People started to notice around then also but more so in the last week (lost 39lbs so far)!

Yep, around 30 lbs here too! I also second taking pictures. I couldn't believe the difference in my back fat after 35 lbs lost or so. I have lost 45 and have had to get rid of/take in most of my clothes.

Same for me--about 30-35 pounds before someone said something..it was my husband who didn't know I had been trying to eat better...I had purchased a new blouse and I think that helped too

Last time, it was around 30 pounds. My little guy told me "Mommy, I like how your butt is getting less wide." lol

For me, it was also somewhere around 30 pounds. I could tell my pants were getting a bit looser as I lost, but they didn't actually get so loose they were starting to fall down/get baggy until around 30 pounds. People didn't start noticing until probably 35 pounds. Truthfully, I couldn't tell, either, until I looked at a picture of myself from the trip I was just on, and I could tell that my face got thinner. But yeah, it took about 30 pounds for my clothes to start falling off and for people to ooh and aah.

Mine was almost 40lbs, exactly. It might have actually been the day I got to 40 lost, lol.

Around 25-30 for me. I couldn't see any difference but really noticed when I realised I could get into a smaller size. When I stopped wearing my baggier clothes my friends all suddenly noticed too.
