Default Easter Weight Loss Challenge

So Easter is a little over 6 weeks away and since I missed the Valentine's Day challenge I figured I'd start an Easter challenge with individual weight loss goals and daily achievements. To track my progress, I added another ticker just for my goal.

My goal is to lose 20 pounds by Easter. Anyone else interested?

We have a challenge for all low carbers (not just Atkins specific) in the other low carb forum right now.

You guys are welcome to come join us over there if you would like

Or if you want to have a seperate thread just for Atkins people that's up to you too.

My goal is 20 lbs by Easter... not sure if I'll hit it since I'm past the 'whoosh' stage where you lose a lot quickly.

Count me in,, i need to get back in the atkins way. It works when nothing else ever has. Ive had two knee surgerys and gained 30 pounds, what a waste to gain it back when i know better !!
I was wandering,,, when you are really off..... what steps do you take to restart your program? Sometimes for me its just getting started and making it through those first few days.. good luck everyone

I am in!! Atkins has always worked for me. When I stay on the wagon. I don't know why I ever stop as I feel so terrific on it. I started Jan 1st and have lost 16 pounds as of this morning. Hoping for another 15 by Easter.

Welcome to the challenge, carvinmom!!!

When I start back on Atkins Induction, I just re-read my Atkins book and go full speed ahead! I use myfitnesspal.com to track my carbs, and I make sure I only eat items that are on the acceptable foods list. I can be REALLY STRICT when I want to! I'm not eating a lot of cheese, because I truly think it makes my weight loss stall big time.

I totally agree with ya, if I weigh too much I tend to get discouraged...so I weigh myself ever morning as soon as I wake up.

If you use firefox at all you can see your password for sites if you go to security/saved password/show password. Then just scroll down and find the site. I dont know if internet explorer or any other ones have this option but I know firefox does. Hope that helps!
