Default Salad dressing idea

DH and I are looking for salad dressings that are LC and having a rough time of it. I happened to check the taco sauce bottles the other night. The two we have on hand are pretty low compared to LF salad dressings. Check it out!

I think its supposed to be extra virgin, anyhow thats what I used. but I'm sure you could probably use canola.

I use minimal virgin and it works fine!

Ladies:

I use that same basic recipe but sometimes will leave out the parmesan and instead add 1 teaspoon of honey mustard and 1/2 packet of equal (makes it sweeter) ...

Oh that does sound good, I can't wait to try it!! Do you use just regular old vinegar, or something fancier like red wine vinegar?

This sounds really good. I will be starting tomorrow but all I have is regular Parmesan cheese. Can you use regular parmesan cheese in Phase 1? The book says only fat free or light cheese.

Has anyone tried the Balsamic Vinagrette recipe in the book? Is it any good?

The dressing is less tart if you use red wine vinegar ... I live in Rhode Island and there's a place called Ocean State Job Lot that has a lot of the stuff we use ... honey mustard, red wine vinegar, extra virgin olive oil and splenda really cheap ... the red wine vinegar was 79 cents a few weeks ago so used that for the first time then ...

If I use regular vinegar I add capers and a little basil ...

Never thought I'd be so creative with salad dressing!!!!!
