Like Lakewood I would take the whole plan to your doctor to talk it over with them. There may be a safe way for you to do this, or there might be another plan out there that would be better for you. Personally while being overweight is a risk, there are enough diets out there that you should be able to find something to help you without risking your health in other ways.
