Default 2 weeks and no weight loss? :(

I've been eating better and exercising for two weeks. After the first week, I lost 3 pounds. I was so happy. I kept doing the same thing for the next two weeks and here I am, still weighing in at 182. What am I doing wrong?

Probably nothing. Unfortunately weight loss is not a linear process. I'll lose 2 pounds one week and none the next and then 3 the week after.

Give it another two weeks and then decided something's not right. In the mean time, double check all of your portion sizes and make sure you're not underestimating the amount you're eating. I find when I stall that that's the most likely reason.

Good luck!! You're doing great, don't get discouraged!

I'm the same hun. I lost 8lbs in January (which should be great) but I have stayed the same for the last 2 weeks.

Me too. Got stuck two weeks ago. In spite of that, my clothes fit much better. Keep going, because we will beat that scale!

Not doing anything wrong. A lot of people (ladies especially) lose in a sawtooth trajectory. I lose all my weight during one week a month. It comes off in a woosh and then I wait a few more weeks and it happens again. Be patient and chart. It'll help you see what your pattern is! Hormones are mean little critters .

I have the same problem, but it could be because of binge-eating on weekends, I'm almost sure it's because of that. But still.. through the week I eat no more than 1700 calories per day, and exercise so I thought I would of at least stayed at the same weight from last week and not gain another 2 lbs! Jeez, stupid weight >.<

But whatever, we can do it and shouldn't feel discouraged. It's like the replies above me said: 'Unfortunately weight loss is not a linear process' and 'A lot of people (ladies especially) lose in a sawtooth trajectory'.
