Default My 60 day workout regimen was cut short :C tips/encouragement welcome!

a couple weeks ago, i charted out sixty days to keep up a regular workout schedule. At least four times a week, for 45 minutes at a time.
Then i had to go out of town to the northwest, and when i came back, i got a wicked sinus infection, and even lost my voice. :C Day fifteen and i had only worked out on day ONE.

SO! Starting tomorrow, February first, i'm going to go 60 days and workout as hard as i can! hoping to lost my last 20 pounds, in two months. That's reasonable, right?
This is my last hurrah! I've lost 40 pounds slowly over the course of 2011. (also i'm getting married in october! i'm comfy with my weight now, but I've NEVER been smaller than this! I want to know what a flat tummy feels like!)
I'm feeling really confident! I hope i can do it.
Any suggestions/comments? I feel like chatting! ^^

Obviously, I don't live your life and its hard to predict if you'll face additional challenges like these...
but I always find setting minute goals better. So, instead of 4 days @45 minutes each, set a goal for 300 minutes in a month (or whatever you decide). Its easier to compensate if you're short on minutes--go for an hour instead of 45 minutes or whatever. But you can't remake a day, which can upset people, or me at least.

You sound like you are a hard worker! I can tell that you are anxious to get those last 20 pounds off. It would be wonderful if it would come off so quickly. I'm not sure that you can expect to lose 20 lbs in 2 months since you are so close to your goal weight. From what I've read here as you approach your goal the weight tends to come off more slowly.

When you set a weight loss goal with a time frame, like 20 lbs in 2 months, I think what you really mean is 'I'm going to work as hard as I can for the next 2 months and really focus on my weight loss'. Because if 2 months go by and say you lose 12 lbs instead of 20 lbs you would not think of that as a failure. I agree that making this a priority in your life is important. Eating healthy takes a lot of planning.

I'm sure that you have learned a lot of healthy eating lessons along the way. Keep focused on your diet as the most important element for weight loss. Get that exercise in when your schedule allows, but be realistic, life happens, in my opinion you can lose weight even if you're not exercising.

You have a lot of time before your wedding in October. Just continue with your plan. Be consistent and keep plugging away. It will happen.

Cut more calories, and/or pick up on the exercise. You have to cut 3500 calories to burn 1 lb. Just make sure you are eating healthy all the while!

hey our current stats are pretty close, i think 20 lbs in 2 months is pushing it, and you could be setting yourself up for dissapointment, because as previous posters have mentioned, life does happen.

you have 8 months until your wedding.

how about, 5 lbs a month, over the duration of 4 months? and then 4 months of maintenance/ tightening of the skin? if you lose too fast, you will get gross tummy skin, and you won't see the hard work!

slow and steady wins the race!
