Default Confused - max protein intake for a meal

I read somewhere that our body can only absorb 20 g of protein per meal, and the rest gets converted into fat and gets stored in the body. Is that true???

Not all protein is created equal either. Just remember while on the IP diet just follow it and you'll find it works, you don't need to worry about the other stuff out there. The plan is simple to follow but I think we all want to make it more complicated then it needs to be sometimes. Good luck!

Thanks Y Guy.

I am a vegetarian. It is difficult for me to get protein, I have to eat tofu, soy and meatless burgers and protein shakes day after day. It is more difficult than eating veggies actually.

That will be a challenge I'm sure. Do watch as some of the non-meat alternatives are very high in carbs, but you probably already know that.
