Good Morning everyone, I hope everyone had a good day for Christmas and enjoyed family and friends. I will be traveling this morning early in the morning so I figured I would give a few words of encouragement before I go to bed.

For those of you that stayed OP through the Holiday, congrats on a job well done. For those of you that caved in, don't beat yourself up. Today is a new day just hop back on the wagon and get back OP. What is done is done, you can change today but can not change yesterday. Start today with a new attitude....I am WORTH this, I CAN do this and most importantly I WILL do this!!. It is never to late to get started, the past is just that...the PAST....the present is a present and the future is yet to be seen ONLY YOU can make your future, YOU decide what YOU want to do, for ME its to get to finish the first part of my journey of getting to my goal....What will you decide for your future, for your tomorrow...Think about it

Hi, I was just thinking the same thing! I'm so happy...It wasn't even that hard... AND I just realized a pair of jeans I tried on are a lose size 14 (I thought they were a lose size 16)...either way I'd be happy!!! Bring on the weight loss!!!

Morning Wuv
well I screwed up but it happened a few days before the big meal. I then royally screwed up. Today is the first day back OP and will keep going OP until I hit my goal weight. Congrats to all of you who had way more willpower than I did. Today is a new day and will keep going.

Woohoo! I was -6 at this morning's WI and it's even my TOM. I survived Xmas eve, Xmas morning and Xmas day huge meals without a cheat so I'm proud of myself for that but now comes the hard part -- 7 days in the UK in three different friend's homes and lots of transit. I'm going with the theory that planning is everything here -- all my packets are marked for day and time and I have some extras for emergencies. I think this will be my first real test! I'm worried about getting all my veggies in.

Congrats to everyone who did so well over the holidays!

I also was off plan yesterday so have put my one pound gain into the Christmas challenge chart and I am back at totally on plan today.

I have be doing this for 5 months now and one thing I discovered yesterday was that anythings you buy premade tastes awful because everything is loaded with salt.

A major part of my "binge" was two apples because I am sooooo sick of the big C. Whatever remedy I try works for a while then loses effectiveness.

What I need to do is go back to the advice my coach gave me at the very beginning, that is to have an enormous salad at lunch. With the coming of winter salads were not as appealing. Also it was taking about a half hour to eat them and as my work situation became more and more hectic I wouldn't take the time necessary at lunch. I am off till after New Years so will get back into the salad mode again and my resolution will be to take the necessary time at lunch to eat the salad.
I hope everyone is having a chance to relax now that the main rush is over.
Pat

Agree with all that has been said if you fell off of the wagon. The past is the past and today is a new day - make it count!

We got back last night from our week long trip to CA. It was wonderful seeing friends and family, but even better coming home last night. We stayed at a hotel for most of our trip, so that was a little challenging staying on plan, but we did it. Definitely didn't get much water in and next to no supplements, and most days were more like phase 2 days than phase 1 days. I hopped on the scale this morning kind of afraid to see what it said, but I still managed to loose three pounds while we were away. Tomorrow is my official weigh in day, so hopefully the clinics scale will agree with my scale at home. Either way I'm glad to be back home and back to phase one and my regular schedule.

Have to add also how nice it was to get all of the positive feedback from friends and family who could tell I've lost weight. I saw a lot of those people about a month and a half ago at my son's Bar Mitzvah when I had lost about 30 pounds, but now almost another 20 pounds lighter they said they could all really tell the difference. Plus I had brought my new too tight jeans with me just in case I needed an extra pair. I figured I could squeeze into them if I had to. My second day there I felt like I was pulling up my pants too much and so I thought I would try on those new too tight jeans again, but now they fit just fine. LOVE this diet.

Off to pick up the dog from the boarders this morning and return a few gift items that weren't right. Enjoy your Monday everyone.

I went off plan for the weekend and while I felt guilty I totally enjoyed the food lol.

Back on track today, weigh in not til Saturday so I have 5 days to recover. Even if I stay the same this week at WI I will be a happy camper.

Congratulations to all who had the willpower to stay OP. Have a great day everyone....

From the sounds of your enthusiasm and willpower I'm sure you'll do fine! It was sort of funny...at my family's Christmas party I took all the celery that was on the veggie platter...LOL!!! I just kept going back for "little" handfuls at a time... Be well and have fun with your friends! After all you're going to see them and not food!!!

I had my WI today . . . Down 4.6 pounds and another 4.75 inches. I was OP for the holidays w/ the exception of one tiny cookie that my coach gave me permission to have and one sip of Champagne. I was fine w/o having any more cookies, but I would have enjoyed having a couple of glasses of champagne! I'll save that for next year.

There were some great WI's today. Congrats.

Wuv, I hope you made it home safely in all of this rain. It's yucky, yucky outside here in South Louisiana!

I am one who went off plan yesterday, and I am very nervous now. I have not done this before and I am wondering if I will be sick again as I get back on? I did not binge, but I ate way too many carbs, for sure.
