Talking Emergency Weekend Foodwatch

EMERGENCY!!!! EMERGENCY!!!! EMERGENCY!!!

Sorry, was I shouting? How rude!!

But it's the weekend and I don't have to work again and evil thoughts of dulce de leche are crowding into my aging and feeble brain and the siten song of Krispy Kreme is wafting from the supermarket three miles away where they now sell my ol' pals hot and fresh, just like in them bad ol' days when we used to have to go downtown to get them but it was worth it and ... but I digress ...

It's the weekend and whatever ol' evil Demon Scale says tomorrow, I'm in my smaller size jeans and I intend to stay there. So, I'm once again posting every dang thing (be it ever so sugar laden or Krispy) I eat from Saturday (that's today) to Monday morning (e.g., Sunday) and the relevant caloric facts right here on the good ol' support forum in case anyone wants to join me.

I'm not claiming good nutrition here or even particularly aiming for it. This is about controlling calories and not bingeing on this free weekend.

As always, this is extra support and not meant to interfere with any other thread!!!

So far today, I've eaten thusly:

EAS Carb Control shake (110)

English Muffin w/2 T sugar, butter spray, cinnamon (220)

I'll be baaack, you be beethoven!

It's something like 112 in the shade already here and the siren song of Madame Icy Cold Dulce De Leche was heard near the convenience store a couple of minutes ago, as I melted home from a shopping trip. Luckily, I had the Arizona Division of the Emergency Foodwatch Patrol as backup and we were able to put the cuffs on that exotic arch criminal before she could take over the territory!!!

But in the interest of having a snacky kind of day in which I will finally get to lay on the couch and read, but containing the caloric value to fit my 21-day challenge, I'm having an energy drink (zero cal) and 30 baked Ruffles.

So, the update: 2 Carb Control Shake (220); 2 English Muffins w/2 T sugar each , butter spray, cinnamon (440); Energy drink (0); 30 baked Ruffles (360); TOTAL, 1020!

Sunday night, for me, is the hardest, whether I work or not, so my mission, should I choose to accept it (I do), is to MAKE IT THROUGH (nutrition or no nutrition) and keep that bad ol' Weekend Calorie Count within bounds (by any means necessary)!

Sorry, must repeat posting one of my theme songs: "I'm a woman on a mission, I am, I am! I'm a woman on a mission, and I'm not just goin' fishin' ... I'm a woman on a mission, I AM!

Excellent work, Wildfire!

My Update: 2 Carb Control Shakes (220); 2 English Muffins w/2 T sugar each , butter spray, cinnamon (440); Energy drink (0); 30 baked Ruffles (360); English muffin w/2 T sugar, butter spray, cinnamon (220), 2 Carb Controls (220); English muffin w/2 T sugar, butter spray, cinnamon (220)TOTAL, 1680

If I have anything else, it'll have to be a Carb Control, which would put me at 1790, just 5 cal shy of my limit for the 21-day challenge. I'd like to stay where I am now, but if I get hot tonight, I'll have the cold shake and report it here. Otherwise, this is where I'll stop!

Thanks Wildfire and Kayecee for posting with me. It really helped. Hope I didn't shock anyone with my sugar consumption. I'm actually quite proud that I had the muffins instead of a weekend of Krispy Kreme runs and that yesterday in the store, I only bought the ONE KK that I craved AND added ff milk instead of my usual TWO KKs.

Wildfire, I'll see you on the 21-dayer!!! We are gonna do this!!! You bet!
