Talking 6 Month Anniversary! (50 Pounds down/6 inches off waist)

Huzzah!

I restarted my journey six months ago with my work cut out for me. At 327 pounds I was no light weight, and after having to deal with regaining nearly a hundred pounds I knew that the path before me was not an easy one.

And, yet, 6 months into this journey I am excited that began again. It has been worth it. I know that another 3 months, and another 3 months after that... I'll still be happy with myself for beginning again.

Within these 6 months I've taken off over 50 pounds. I've lost 6 inches off my waist alone, with some more inches off of my hips and thighs and arms. The inches are slower than the pounds. I've got a lot of roundness so that's the way it goes for now.

I got here 1 day at a time. I'll get to a year 1 day at a time, too.

Thank you 3FCers for always being there. I am 100% positive I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for this site and you wonderful, supportive people. I mean it from the bottom of my heart.

Congratulations! In many ways the time that I've been at this gives me more confidence than the actual weight loss, if that makes sense. Sticking with it 6 months is a big, freaking deal! And 50lbs lost is nothing to sneeze at either, that's amazing!

Congratulations once again and I can't wait to see where you're going to be in those next 3 months and then those next 3 months after that too...

And this makes COMPLETE sense to me. I'm "more proud" of the time than I am the pounds. Not that I'm not happy about losing 50, but being here 6 months is just so amazing. So I do understand that wholly.

Lovely that is awesome! When I see all the dates (despite what the weight says, lol) in my log it still astounds me that I have been doing this as long as I have.
