Default NSV to the rescue....

I was having a pretty awful day today. I had a good weigh-in this morning, but some other issues in my personal life kept me from really enjoying that fact. Tonight, I remembered that I had some clothes in the closet that I had tried on about 10lbs ago that should probably fit now... So I tried them on and I discovered that I've almost dropped an entire clothing size!!!!! Granted, I probably should wait another week or so to wear most of this stuff, but just being able to put it on and button/zip/etc without a fight was a HUGE deal. I'm almost ready to throw out the current size and just move on now...lol.

Also, I decided to be a bit brazen, and try on some stuff that was definitely NOT going to fit (1-2 more sizes to go). In that stack was my most favorite pair of jeans in the world, as well as a pair of capris that I love. I haven't worn them since Christmas 2008 and Summer 2008, respectively. Tonight, I got those suckers on! No, they don't button, lol... and no, I will not be wearing them in public anytime soon. However, it made me feel like a new person to see that they were going to fit at some point in the near future

Congrats and good for you!!!! I can't waittttt for that feeling! I'm hoping 10 LBS from now I'll be able to do the same! I actually gave a TON of my skinny clothes to a friend (at the time was size 16 and these were size 2/4 & I dont think I'll ever be that size again, even if I lose a lot of weight) so I don't really have any skinny clothes to try on, but waiting for my current pants to FALL OFF! Woooo! Congrats again to you, KEEP GOING!!

Wow that's great! I'm still a bit away from losing an entire size but today I weighed about 1 pound up from yesterday and was feeling a bit down.

So I did what you did and tried on these shorts (that fit at my high weight albeit with some wiggling and sucking in). I noticed that my thighs were slimmer and not bulging out like they did before. It made me feel a lot better and gave me some strength to see this out to the end!

Hoorah!!!

I know how that feels, I have had two pairs of jeans in my closet for quite a while. Both size 12L's that I had bought. I rarely wore them... not because I couldnt' button them, but because they gave me a HUGE muffin top and I had trouble breathing when they were buttoned.

Well... pulled them on this weekend, both fit WELL... and my size 14 pair are HUGE now.

But... not buying any new pairs of jeans until size 10... and even then, two pairs, enough to get me to size 8... and then only two pairs, etc. Why? Because I only wear jeans. Everywhere... all the time.
