Hi, I was curious if everyone took before photo's. I took 2 different types of before photos, one set in a tank top/shorts (different angles), and one set in a bikini (different angles). Yes, a bikini! I didn't know they made them that big. LOL Not a pretty sight, but in time, it won't matter. I plan on sharing them (the bikini photos), but not now.

Here are my before (Day 1 - July 1st) and during pics (Day 40 - Aug 9th).

Yep, I took before pics and lots of between pics.
I can most definitely see a difference in your pics! In your face, shoulders, arms, belly... everywhere you look smaller. It's so exciting to compare pics and see a difference! Congrats. :-)

I didnt take before pictures, but that's me in my avatar at Easter this year. My mom took that. That was three weeks before I started this. I took some pictures a few weeks ago and I'm trying to remember to take in between pics.

Thanks everyone!
Congrats to all of you on your weightloss. GREAT accomplishments!
My first 30 days, I worked out 6 days a week, alternating strength/cardio days for 30 - 35 mins a day. Now I am working out for 1 hour, 6 days a week, alternating strength/cardio days. It gets easier every day.

I didn't take pictures, but have family photos from Christmas that are pretty clear as to how big I was. I didn't take progress pics, either, until I lost 70 pounds. And I only took them because I put the jeans on that I wore in the winter and it looked ridiculous so I took a picture. I did have a family wedding at 48 pounds where photos were taken, and just last week another family wedding at 80 pounds. The funny thing is, I now wish I had taken photos every 20 pounds or so. It was at about 25 pounds that people started to notice.

You look great, by the way. You can see the difference in your face and everywhere. Clothes (or photos with very little clothes) make a big difference. If it was winter, someone might not notice that your arms are smaller since they'd be covered, for example. I think people notice in the summer a little more quickly. And when they notice and comment, it's a HUGE boost to the ego, incentive, willpower, etc. Keep up the great work and keep taking photos of the journey.

I did take before pictures... that I deleted shortly after taking them because of just sheer embarrassment. I have pictures from the 220s... and a couple face pictures from my highest weight. Now I take pictures about every 10lbs or so. When I meet goal, I'll be able to line them all up and post in the "Goal!" sub-forum.

linjber, seeing pics my family posted on Facebook, and tagging me in. I was like omgosh. I didn't recognize the person. I knew I was big, just hoped it wasn't that bad. The good thing is, you have before family photos. To be honest, I didn't want to take pictures. I was so disgusted with myself. I guess that is why my face wasnt so happy in my before pic. LOL I also took measurements and they were not pretty. My waist was 50 inches. I couldn't believe it! Happy to say when I took measurements 2 weeks ago, it went down to 44 inches. Thank you for the great compliments. Congrats on your weight loss. You are doing awesome!

GonnaTurnHeads, I know how you feel. When I started, I took this pic, and I also took pics in a bikini, omg did it look horrible. I was so embarrassed. I wanted to delete all of them, but I knew I would achieve my goals, and when I post them, I will be proud, and not embarrassed. I hoped at least. That is great you are taking pics, you will love seeing the changes. I plan on wearing the same outfit, until it literally falls off me. haha Congrats on your weight loss. You are doing great!

Transforming Myself..I also had a moment like that...a friend of mine had a picture of me at a birthday party--a day I thought I was looking good...when I saw it I had such a weird feeling inside.."who is that?" I kept thinking to myself...I didn't recognize the person but knew it was me because of the outfit

I started taking monthly "before" pics in March...not by choice, lol, that's when I started working w/ a trainer and I was "forced" to. Now, I am SOOOOOO very glad to have them. I have to take front, side, and back pics. The first set was painful. Now...I get excited when it is time to take new ones!
