Happy Sunday, everybody!
SW 8/8: 243.2
8/14: 239.4 ( minus 3.8 lbs this week)
8/21: 234.3 (minus 5.1 for the week, minus 8.9 since starting on this thread, minus 16.2 since July)
1st GW: 193.2 on December 31st 2016 (truly anything under 200 would be a major success!!!)
Final GW: 170 or 165 by May 2017
I had a good week, exercised 5 out of 7 days. Ate low carb and only little cheese UNTIL yesterday when I overdid it with feta cheese and the scale showed it (yesterday total weight was less than this morning). I am happy with the results this week and know that it will slow down soon.
My plan is to increase total steps per day and total active minutes when the slowing down/plateauing start. Clothes fit better and I feel better since I started this July at 250.5. I know it's only the start and the weight loss is not major but I can feel the difference already from 250.5 to now.
Plan for this coming week:
Prep foods for the week, measure and wrap 1 inch cubes of cheese and only allow myself 1 or 2 per day (better than huge amount eaten so far and more realistic than saying I can't have any).
Get 12,000 steps per day with 45 active minutes each day. That means I get on the treadmill after work. Improve from 5 days a week to 6 days a week.
Keep a positive mindset and think of all the benefits of weight loss.
Accept, understand, internally process that this will take time to achieve and that I will hit bumps in the road such as plateaus.
Texaslittlelady1,
I am so sorry that you had a difficult week. On the positive note, you did't give up: you are right back up and at it again. We've all had those moments/days/weeks. Good for you accepting that it was just a passing moment and its' not defining your weight loss and health journey.
Great idea to make a scrapbook. It will surely help with the motivation. I look in my closet and see all the cute clothes I can't fit in. I can't wait to go "shopping" in my own closet and wear them again in the future.
Your ticker shows what a great job you have done so far and what a long way you've come.
You inspire me!!! I can't wait to be in
onederland!!!
Davisag,
Welcome!
Glad to hear that you are also back on track. Great determination, good for you!
Whenever I had fallen off the wagon in the past (MANY times), the hardest thing for me was to restart and get into the right frame of mind. You are doing great!
You are right: we can do this!
Have a great week.
I will check back in next Sunday for results and come back to read your posts before that.
We can do it!
