I lost one pound of the bloat and TOM is due any minute, which means a whoosh I am excited Not over TOM, though But my clean eating is working.

I only had a day at Toronto but I enjoyed the city. I walked around and admired some great buildings. I really did not dine out just had a salad for lunch. I am on my weigh loss kick, so eating greasy, heavy meals out is not in a picture right now!

I am really close being out of the 140's, again. I will eat clean today and get some exercise in and I am hoping to be in my 130's tomorrow. So I have 9 days to drop 5 pounds...hmmm...don't see it happening, unless I get a major whoosh As long as I can drop 1- 2 pounds by then, I am going to be happy.

Sum good job on the pound Congrats on being so close to the next decade Sorry about the soreness ... that's how I felt on the treadmill the other day ... I couldn't pick up the speed like I wanted to for the life of me, smh. I know I've got to do better if I want to get this weight off. Thanks for the heads up on the number of days we have left maybe that will give me some incentive to at least lose a couple of pounds

Thanks Sum Today the kids had to go in different directions so getting everybody out and trying to be close to on time I missed my breakfast. I ended up eating some chips in the car. Then I ate a pretty good lunch along with some cake batter and two cups of green tea.

RENNIE!!!! CAKE BATTER??!! I am going to give you the frying pan

Just kidding. Sounds like you are craving carbs. How has your carb intake been? I have not been at the Slow Carb board, so I am out of the loop (I should venture there).

7 o'clock; the Witching hour is approaching...snack monster wants its food. BUT I will stay strong!! I ate well today and I am done eating for the day! I want to see 13x.x tomorrow more than having a lousy snack.

I bought some Starbuck's refreshers, I did not check their sugar content, I am sure it is high, but split one packet between 3 -- 24 oz jug of water. I am so tired of plain water.

I will finish my last 24 oz of water and close the kitchen for the night

See you in the morning.

Hi All,

Cattails, Rennie, & Carma, thanks for the encouragement. One way or the other, something has to change this year. I just need to get through the next 5 weeks or so first.

Rennie, I get the packet tomorrow evening. So I will let you know. They are doing a one day boot camp event, but it is on a Saturday, and we are on mandatory work Sat. I don't think I'll be able to go to that. And my husband said he's not doing the 5K...

Sum, your trip sounds like it was a nice break.

Carma, good luck on the race tomorrow!

I was at 128.5 this am... grrrr! We went out for Mexican last night, and I over did the flour tortillas & chips.

today was better
B - breakfast taco with coffee/creamer
L - salad w/ chicken, orange, animal crackers
S - 3 Godiva chocolate pearls
D - salad with chicken, cheese, salsa, guacamole, orange, animal crackers.

I'll have a snack too, but the above is just about 1000 calories. I walked last night, but its raining this evening, so going to do 30DS, and then come back to the computer & work for several hours on a project.

I gave into the snack monster I made decent choices though, except for a pudding cup.

Weight was below 140 (139.6) and I am not going back over it again!! Hopefully tomorrow I will see 138.x

I felt really fat at the aerobics class. I am still very curvy, and it did not help that I had no spandex in my workout clothes. Nothing was held in and all of those mirrors, ugh. I have come far, but I have a long way to go.

So one workout done. I will walk my pup for an hour, later on. The trails may be a total mess (icy) and it may take me over an hour to do my 3.3 mile loop. I don't want to break anything. -- I am so done with this snow! Now it does not even look pretty, all half melted, dirty and grey. On Tuesday temps are supposed to climb up to 52F, melting here we come!!

Abbi, have fun. Just Denmark and Sweden? I grew up in Finland, therefore visited those two countries often.

You may come back trimmer, I usually do after my trip to Finland. You will walk a lot more and portions are much smaller at restaurants.

Regardless, don't worry, weight loss can always wait

Just stay away from lutefisk

... I started this last evening and never hit post

LOL Sum, no you can't be kidding I need that ... Jacqui use to get on me but she's been MIA so you just jump right on in I am craving carbs and nothing I eat satisfies me so I just keep searching My carbs have been up. I don't plan to go anywhere tomorrow except for church so prayerfully I'll do better I'd like to do a fasting day I need it ... with prayer

Thanks Marlene, maybe I can do it with you virtually. I copied a link while at the library this morning to do a 5K it was only $25 per adult and $20 for the kids on April 19th. I think that's easier than trying to raise $2500. I found a flyer at the mall for another 5K on March 29th. I need to check the particulars out for that one. I also want to know what the money is going towards.

I did not have a good day yesterday, in addition to my cake batter I had two cupcakes that were really good. I don't know where they were from so not sure how to add them in. Then late last night I went with to iHop with my oldest and ate 3 pancakes with regular syrup. I am up 1.6 to 167.2 but today is a good day so far ... it's a fasting day

Having an awful time...won't go into details here. Today I had an atkins frozen dinner, an avocado, a tiny piece of 80 percent chocolate. And that's it.......I'm still above 150.
