Yay, Sum, you are powerful again! Thanks for starting a new challenge. I met my Xmas Eve challenge of staying under 120 and that is my Valentine's Day challenge as well. NOT posting my food today, too much junk, but tomorrow I will be accountable.

I'm in. I am going to be having some weird meals over the month of January because our kitchen is being gutted and remodeled. I am expecting lots of microwaving and toaster oven meals. I also have tons of sushi restaurant gift cards to use. I hope I can make smart choices.

Today, I have been a lean (lol, yeah right...), mean cleaning machine I cleaned and I really CLEANED my bathroom out. I removed a garbage bag full of cosmetics and lotions that have not been used in 8 months (since we moved in to this house). So I figured I would not be using them at all. I actually have some empty counter and shelf area Hubby will be happy!

I took a day off from exercise, my knee is hurting, and has been hurting all week. I may need to go and visit a doctor because I suspect it is the ACL that is causing this misery. It has been hurting on and off for a year now.

It is so nice to see so many new (and old) 40 something faces here. It will be a fun challenge!

Hello all! I weighed in today....not a pretty sight, wow.....definitely did some damage the past week....but that was to be expected..no shock here....I decided to start my new program on Saturday so that I can finish up the leftovers I have from Christmas...also it will give me some time to prepare emotionally.....

Valentines stuff is out in the stores already....a reminder to get on with the challenge and meet some goals.......

Thanks for the welcome!

Do the mods read everything?

Well, I'm up by 3 lbs after overeating in a big way on Christmas day. A big family gathering deserves a little bit of indulgence! We had exotic and deli food, sweet desserts, yum

Now, it's back to business with the eating and exercising. Planning on doing an hour in a short while.

Just to clarify. If santa puts chocolate in your stocking it is calorie free, right?

I'm in! I don't seem to get much time to post but I'm definitely here. I'm only down two pounds over December which is a bit discouraging so hoping for a better challenge this time. I think I need to run more, my plan for the next seven weeks is to run at least 4 times a week and not stop at the top of the hills.

My body is changing back to normal though, my muscle tone is improving and instead of still looking round and pregnant the fat is merely hanging off my stomach - it's still pretty gross.

I'd like to lose 4kg in seven weeks which should be achievable.

Whoo, MarleneV, you're almost there! That's awesome. Leeh, I love your chocolate philosophy - I got a stocking packed with the stuff. Good going, Chubby Mom, losing anything in December is an achievement. Sum, sorry to hear about your knee - hope that can be resolved.

I weighed in at 117 today; that makes me a happy chick, whew - no gain! Now to hold the line...

B: half a banana
S: bit of nuts, seeds and raisins
L: chips and salsa, chicken in sour cream sauce, bit of rice and beans, green salad
S: piece of gingerbread cake, dried mango, coffee
S: apple, 1 ounce of dark chocolate, lightly buttered popcorn
