I was speaking to somebody today and we were talking about weight and she made a comment that kind of stuck with me.
She said that when we are overweight, we disrespect ourselves when we should acknowledge our efforts to change. Be it the smallest thing, we should see it as a positive and not use it as another stick with which to beat ourselves.
So I have decided that for this week I am going to do my best to be positive and not disrespect myself and to acknowledge the positive steps I take.
