Last night out of nowhere I decided to walk the two miles to my ladies' Bible study. I had to walk really fast, too, because I left late. It felt great! Sometimes having a hot drought in the middle of winter can be a good thing. It was positively balmy on my walk last night.
I wish the rains would come, though. My kale and chard is not liking this hot, sunny weather.
Went out to eat for DH's birthday and ordered a Greek salad with no dressing rather than the 1500 calorie meal I really wanted. The salad was really delicious and afterwards I was SO GLAD I had stuck to my plan.
I forgot to bring my lunch in today - it is sitting in the fridge at home - and started to dispair, but then I remembered I have a tuna packet and a bottle of Dijon here at work. I can make a decent lunch out of that, with a glass of V8 (also at work) and 3 cuties for a snack. No need to go to the sandwich shop and be tempted by the chips or cookies!

Set my alarm 15 minutes early last night. Chose NOT to hit snooze this morning. Got up early and did a few minutes of abs exercises, arm weights and squats before I even had my coffee.
I could only do a small bit of abs work because I am still in SO much pain from the last time I did abs THREE DAYS AGO. But still, I did a little bit. Each time it will hurt less, until I get used to it and then I can increase my reps and add some more challenging stuff, eventually.
