kelijpa That is awesome about your jeans fitting better; love it!!

magicSusan I love that you were able to get upstairs with both your hands full. That must have been so rewarding!!

miniDoodle great job just tossing the pastry!

My NSV: I've had meetings to go to the last couple of days, and I got that enjoyable feeling of being able to just pull clothes from my closet to wear and know they will fit and look good -- as opposed to the panicky feeling of not having anything to wear and having to make do with something that makes me look fat / ugly / frumpy etc, or worse, having to go shopping for something that will only make me look fat / ugly / frumpy because I've put on weight...

Great NSV NewLeaf! That is a good feeling, I remember putting on shirts/blouses looking in the mirror and going "oh no, too many rolls showing in that one...lol" it wasn't funny at the time of course....

Thanks Minidoodles and Newleaf, and well done everyone else!

Really, these NSVs are the *real* reason were all doing this; so those old jeans will fit again, so we can keep up with our kids... Not because something magical happens when the scale shows a certain number. The numbers are just easier to quantify!

Its a pants one.....A few weeks ago i tried on a brand new pair of pants and they wouldnt come up past my hips, this morning i was really frustrated with the scale so i thought I am gonna try those pants...well....i got them all the way up and zipped....I was really excited, the scale losses have been slow lately and needed to see some kind of progress and there it was in those pants....

I skipped seeing PINK tonight so I could work out and work on my eating instead.... I think that is a MOVE in the right direction...

I tried to wear a top today that I bought to wear to Thanksgiving dinner (it was too tight in all the wrong places so I never wore it). Today, it's too big and all droopy in all those places plus.

What a waste of a top! I only paid $15 on the Marshall's clearance rack but still....That's what I get for losing 45+/- pounds since then!

Maybe I'll wash it and try to shrink it! The one time I want to shrink something and it probably won't....

Good Job, Elvislover!

Think of it this way: Was each pound worth 33 cents? That's what it cost you in terms of that top!

I was in the kitchen opening 3 vats of protein powder and trying to put them into something that would actually fit on my pantry shelves. I grabbed and apron and when I went to tie it - I had to wrap it around back then back to the front and make a big bow! Last time I wore it it barely wrapped around the front - there was no tying it. WooHoo!

Great NSVs everyone, really inspiring, I'm proud of you (and me) We went to the movies today, it was Jack the Giant Slayer, I was able to really scrunch up when things came flying at me (3D) since my belly wasn't in the way anymore...lol

I'm so tardy coming by. Heidi, you look incredible. Great job.
I wanted to say how awesome everyone here is for keeping their
promises to themselves. You each are getting such fantastic rewards
with your NSVs.

My. most recent NSV my clothes are sloppy loose again. So the next size down for my bottoms is about to change(from 16s-14). I also should go bra shopping and get a fitting but am going to wait until I'm way lower.

Great job avalonmoon doesn't it feel great!

I was shocked at the Rail Trail today, knocked out 4 miles in 62 minutes, down 3 minutes from my normal time, thought something was wrong with my pedometer

best to all

Wow! You all are having amazing NSVs!
Kelijpa's trail time, avalonmoon's floppy clothing, 2fatcats and her apron strings, sorry about your top, elvislover, but 2FC is right

Sooooo....
NSV:
This is really a good one, because there are so many aspects to it. DD3 is having a slumber party tomorrow and I was cleaning to prepare. I can really tell how much all the exercise is making a difference and making me stronger- the chores I did today would have taken a week two months ago. I kid you not! I would not have had the energy and would have been miserable, too, at the end of the day, but all I feel today is pleasanly tired.

My whole mood and attitude improve when I can keep up with chores and not have messy surroundings, and I enjoy the exercise more, don't feel driven to junk food, etc....

I'm sure you all know how this cycle can feed both ways. At the moment it's going my way

Magicsusan: that's great!

My NSV today was I ran into a friend I haven't seen for a couple of months and the first thing she said was, Wow, you've lost weight and look great!" It was nice because I see the same people almost every day, and they just don't notice. Heck, I don't notice because I see myself every day.
