Hi! I'm new here

My name's Linda, and I'm new to posting here (in case you can't tell from my post count) but have been lurking here for quite awhile. I'm 47 years old, and 20 pounds into a 50 pound weight loss. At this age the weight loss is pretty slow for me, and it's taken me 6 months to get this far. I hope to be able to lend support to my fellow 40-somethings here, and get support in return

Hi Linda! Welcome!! Glad you decided to come out of lurking and post!

Congrats on that 20! I admire you for keeping up with the weight loss even though it was slow coming off. At least it was almost 4 pounds a month, which is a good pace (if I'm doing the math right).

Linda! 20lbs is more than a start - great work!!

This is a great place, and while we are all at different places on the journey, we're all here for the same reasons and the support is amazing.
