Weird weather here, real dark clouds yet the suns out. I got 70min in of walking, i needed it. After 3 days of overeating, i have loads of weight to lose.

Smile My first weigh in!

Today was my first weigh in. After 10 days, I lost 19 lbs! I am so proud of myself! It was really rough. I even cheated last night and ate a cheeseburger for dinner. I made sure it was before 6 though! Kind of glad I don't have a scale at home. I would probably be checking my weight every other day. Next 10 days sounds just as hard, but I get to choose from more food to eat. This time, apparently more inches are supposed to fall off from the middle section of my body and not nearly as much weight loss. We shall see. I have to go buy a measuring tape tomorrow. I never did take a true "before" pic and measurements. That is ok. I can just start where I am.

I did almost 30min on the TM. My workout was cut a little short when April tried to climb on with my at 5mph! Screaming, hugging, and petting later, she's fine, but I may never be the same!! I could just see anoother trip to the emergency vet in our future.

Camerashy, welcome, good to have you join us!

kittemomma A lot of things apparently. Mango, apricots, nuts, beans. I bought a lot of fruits I usually don't eat and dried apricots are actually a fantastic little snack. Low on calories, and REALLY good for you. Plus filling.

Good morning.

The scale is down--yay! Ate well yesterday, except a bit too much for dinner--but just too much of the allowed foods, not the proscribed ones. Got in some time on the treadmill yesterday, too.

Kuri--I love dried apricots, but didn't know they were good for Vit E. That's good to know.

Sorry to rush off, but I need to get out the door and to the gym.

Take care, all.

Good morning! congrats Camarashy!! wow! I finally broke through the 241. I got on the scale this morning and was 239. I will wait until tomorrow to record it to be sure of the loss.

It has been raining here for two days, we have had 8 inches of rain in those two days. I think I had a moment of insanity last night, I agreed to charepone 18 16 year old girls on a two night camping trip. I think I will need a week to recover from that.

I am going to spurge tonight and have spagetti and salad. Going to be extra good so I can have it.

one of the deans in our office brought in a goodbye gift (as she is leaving) some cupcakes that a grad student made. She has her own business doing this. The dean said guarenteed they are the best you have ever had. Well I ate one and (yes I love cake and icing) yes indeed they should be banned somthing that good should just not be allowed on the planet. I have never in my life ever tasted somthing so fresh and good and yummy. There were three flavors, chocolate mocha, chocolate and chocolate caramel. And sad to say yes I tried one of each. On the bright side these have now ruined me for any other cupcake ever.

Ashley- that's a good way of looking at it! I would have had one of each, I'm sure.

Walked 30min, lovely weather. Stayed under calories, weight has ballooned up. How can someone gain 10lbs in three days of extreme over eating. Some of it water & some fat. This is gonna take me a while!

Hey all! Still have that gross little notebook computer at work. Not sure what I'll end up with, but I hope it's a new laptop!

Working on trying to plan our vacation. I've had the reservation for our cottage for a while and it includes tickets for events we have to decide on and choose soon. One is a zip-line tipe ride. They boys think they want to go, but I am so scared of heights that I'm not sure I could bring myself to do it. Also a little worried my older son might be too heavy. I need to have him weigh himself in front of me so we'll know. I don't want to embarrass him. I've been there and hated it, once when they were little and I had to be weighed before I could get on a horse for a horseback ride. I think I was two pounds under the limit.

Doing good on food here. I did have leftovers from last night that included a roll for a sandwich, but the rest of the ingredients were fairly healthy. Turkey smoked sausage/peppers/onions with homemade marinara and one slice of mozzarella cheese. So good!! Had some salad with it.

Exercise is good. I've been getting between 3 and 5 miles in every morning since Sunday. Hoping for a good weigh in tomorrow/Friday. Fingers crossed.

Fruitlady-Get back on plan and I know you can drop that weight!! That certainly does seem like a lot to gain in 3 days. I gained 10 pounds in a week once, but that was when the doc adjusted my blood pressure meds and discontinued my diuretic, so he prescribed a low dosage of that and I've been fine since.

Welcome to CameraShy!! Sounds like you are on a roll with the weight loss!!

PP-Wow! What a close call with the dog! Glad all is well!!

No workout. I've been getting headaches every day this week but today's I couldn't shake or ignore. But somehow I felt good enough to go yarn shopping; Michaels and Joanns both had sales!

Good morning.

Ate pretty good yesterday, but still going a bit over calories count. Took my scale off the bathroom rug and gained a pound. Sigh.

At least I'm back to exercising this week--I think I've go my schedule worked out for that. Just in time to go on vacation. Vacations are so hard for diets, but I will try to be strong.

Have a good day everyone.

Okay, I got my workout in early today. I did 30min LB + Core and added on 3 miles of Leslie DVD

I have a few suspects in the daily headache thing. I'm trying to grow my hair out of a pixie and its hanging in my face so I've been wearing clips at my temples, and, secondly, I recently tried almond milk {which is good} but nuts can cause migranes so I wonder if that's contributing. Almost 30 years of migraines and I still haven't figured out what causes them in the first place. No almond milk today and I just took out the clips. Now that my hair's all sweaty and gross I did the worlds smallest french braid...we'll see how long that lasts
