Zumba-Great Job! If you won't get happy we will get happy for you girl. And you come on down here to Florida it will be 80 degrees today.

Izza- We have the same Masters degree..LOL

I had my weigh-in at WW today. I am down 5.8lbs. I am pumped. So ladies let's all celebrate the small victories everyday.

You all are soo active! It's inspiring -- I walked 2.5 miles on Monday and another 3.2 today. Wanted to time myself for a 5k to get a baseline (50minutes). I signed up for one in April -- pretty excited! I've never really done exercise because I hated it. But it's been sorta great this week! Maybe I just hated it when I was lugging around so much extra weight!?! Anyways, thanks all for the extra motivation. Gearing up to start the C25K in March!

Wednesday: 1325 calories. 1 hr. body sculpt.

Did much better on calories yesterday, but need to work on quality. TOM is kicking my a$$ this month - terrible cramps yesterday, so it could have been worse. Proud that I dragged myself to the gym. My weight will probably be up tomorrow - hopefully it is water and resolves next week.


bama, 5.8 lbs??? That is incredible!!!!

Jen, this 5K stuff is catching! Mine is 4/30 - when is yours?

zumba, sorry you're going through some stress now. Hope things get better for you soon.

izza, get excited!!!

time, 3.6 - wow! What a great start to the challenge!

I'm Having a Blah... Anger filled morning now in the past Would eat but I have decided that rather than do that I am:
1. letting you all know I feel like crap.
2. Taking the day off so I don't add to my Bad day.
3. putting on the work out gear

I just started doing the low carb thing this week, before that I was counting calories. So I weighed myself this morning and

Feb 17: 204.5
Feb 24: 199


I know it's mostly water weight but I'll take it.


Izzadawn, I'm sorry you're having a bad day, I had one yesterday, I can relate and it sounds like you're dealing with it in a positive and effective way.

Izza...get your frustration out by working out!!!!!!!!

Theme...water weight is still weight......way to go!!! I truly believe counting carbs is the secret to losing weight and keeping it off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

whoa - you ladies are doing great!!

I've been a bit over the side of the diet/exercise wagon for the last 7-10 days - but the last few I've been working really hard to get back to where I was.

Dcap..just keep doing your thing girl...I have been on vacation and not working out but losing because of my diet. Just get back on the wagon.....I am so looking forward to warmer weather, yard work counts as exercise!

Thursday: 1530 calories. 1 hr. Zumba!

Up 2.6 from last Friday. Hoping most of it is TOM, although it's unusual for me to have such a large gain, so some of it may be real. TOM has been particularly vicious this month - I'm on my 3rd day of cramps.

Goals for this week are:

1) Keeping calories between 1200-1400/day
2) More fruits and veggies
3) 6 days at the gym

Good Morning Everyone,
Yesterday did suck!!!
But I am so proud that I identified that it had the potential to push me off the rails but had the strength to hold on!!!

Wow, this little success is more important than the ones on the scale.

Although yesterday was taxing emotionally I did have a workout, But I also treated myself to a long hot Bath and a small glass of my favorite shiraz.

This Morning my weight 195.1 lbs ( I'm EXCITED) and my first "TurboFire" workout.

St. Paddy's day goal 190, I'm on the Way!!!

I'm up a bit because I broke down last night and had carbs that I shouldn't have...I blew up immediately. I am super sensitive to bread....but oh how I love it! Not saying I will never have it again but I shouldn't be eating it late at night and for now I could go without it in order to give myself a jumpstart....

Well Bama you asked me to come down to Florida...booked my trip today...woot woot..now I have to look good in a sundress..I won't say bikini, don't want to have false hope...

Put in a good day today......not enough water though.....one of these days I'll get my act together....it seems like I don't do what I need to do all at once...if I drink water, I forget to take in my vitamins..if I take vitamins I don't eat as well I should , etc. Its so hard to do it all at once...LOL
