Unhappy Question

Not exactly sure where to post this. If I am in the wrong area I apologize...

I have had a overhang for 20+ years. I have learned how to treat the rashes and have been fine, but since I have started losing weight there is now a bad smell coming from that area.. Any suggestions to 'cure' them smell? The stuff I use to clear up the rashes doesn't help.

Cornstarch no help.
Anti fungal powder no help.

Hi Overstressedmom! You may have some time of yeast or fungal infection on your skin. I would see a doctor so you can get it cleared up if that is the case. Good luck!

It isn't red, irritated or anything. It just smells... Like butt.. LOL (Seriously that is the closest thing I can think of).

I agree about the doctor, but if you can't go, then maybe try Calendula oil? It's very healing to the skin. I think it's important to keep the area clean and dry as possible so perhaps a bandage. The odor indicates some sort of bacterial or fungal overgrowth. I hope something helps you.

Try an antiperspirant/deodorant a gentle one like dove. Seriously. You are moving more and sweating more. It most likely is just body funk. if that doesn't clear it up in a couple of days see a doctor
