Default Can I get a high five?!

Was on vacation last week and didn't gain a pound!

I had given myself permission to come home two pounds heavier, I thought that would allow me some play time with food, but not do any serious damage. Never thought I'd manage to maintain!

Wow that is very impressive. Were u constantly diligent? Or did u let yourself let loose? I'd love to pick your brain a bit. My vacation is two months away and I would love to avoid gaining weight I have already lost, along with what I hope to lose before I go. I have always gained weight on vacations. What's your secret?!

Thanks for the snaps, folks!

Ma26--I did my very best not to obsess about what I was eating and I really did enjoy myself with some great food/meals/desserts. I'm counting calories, so just knowing where I needed to be for the day really helped with how I ate. I noticed that I was making far better choices when we went out. I was visiting my family, so I had the opportunity to cook a few meals and that helped, too. I took that opportunity to create meals I would have made at home--grilled vegetables, lots of veggies, salads without heavy/oily dressings, etc. These dinners, BTW, got rave reviews!

Where are you in Idaho?
