Today, tomorrow & this weekend are going to be extremely busy for me, so may not be on much until Monday. Family stuff, people visiting, going out with my girlfriends tonight, well I guess just life stuff in general, fun & busy.
Cute house Annie!!!! Hope everyone makes it through the rest of the week okay without any unwanted stress & everyone have a great weekend.

120 w/ the heat index, and I walked a mile between the bus stops this morning...go me! Definitely chugging lots of water while I'm outside. Short workout at the gym during lunch, but better than no workout at all : ) Glad to see everyone checking in and doing so well!

Kathi you are a braver soul than me yesterday, I was not able to get to the gym so i said I would walk outside..yeah that never happened the heat and humidity was opressive. So I will make up for it tomorrow at the gym

Hi everyone! I'm just popping in cos i neeeeeed sleeeeeeep. Just arrived in Houston and jetlagged. Yup, pretty warm, nice though for a change after Aussie winter.
And just had time for a quick shopping trip. Everything is sooooooo cheap! Bought two pairs of running shoes and some jeans which would have cost me approx 3x as much in Aus. Have to go back tomorrow and get some t-shirts for DH and possibly some tops for me if i see anything i like, only the problem will then be fitting everything into my suitcase!
Had some chicken with sides of green beans and cabbage from the mall. Enormous portions. I'm absolutely stuffed now, and that's after putting half of it in the fridge for tomorrow. Keeping to my weight is going to be tough this trip.

I want to see a show of hands of those who are tired of the heat?
So yesterday was my free day but I was able to walk a few miles also. I do need to get a knee brace as something is going on with my left knee. So I am back on the wagon today, no junk/fast food or soda for 31 days and exercising at least 5 days a week.
How is everyone else doing? PM me if you need some encouragment or support. Have a great day!

Losing It: I'm not brave, I ride the bus and it's half mile to the stop then half mile to work from the stop. Wishing all the heat/sweat would melt some of this fat off!
Ange: I'm sooo jealous! I miss Houston! Check out Katz's Deli if you get a chance. They make the most amazing roast beef sandwiches : ) If you have free time I believe the shakespeare festival is still going on - and it's free. Wow, I'm homesick for texas now!

Hey Chickies! We only did 3 pages on the weekly chat this week, and that seems to be the average for the last month or so. Do you think we should try just a monthly chat for August? If it gets too long we could break it up after 2 weeks? Just a thought!

Hey just stopping by for a second, still have company but life should return to normal tomorrow. Hope everyone has had a good weekend & also that the month of August has started out well for everyone.
