Hi all!

I belonged to 3FC a few years ago (different group) and lost a total of 30 pounds. Hooray for me! Only it didn't last. I slipped back into my old ways and gained every pound back. I'm an emotional eater and I could see the weight coming back while dealing with several major life changes, but I didn't care enough about the weight to do anything about it. Yesterday morning I stepped on the scale and saw a number that I haven't seen in over 3 years. I could kick my big fat behind for not stopping myself sooner...5 or 10 pounds would have been so much easier to loose than 30! I know I can do it though. I did it before with help and encouragement from this site, so I know I can do it again.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all a little better.

Suzy: you did it before, so you know that you can do it again! This time stick around and chat with the maintainers so you can keep it off.

I did the same thing, Suzy! I started over in January and started working out and lost 4 lbs. In February I really kicked it up a notch with watching my calories and portion size. This month my goal is to lose 6 pounds. I am almost there....2 pounds by Monday. I don't think I will make it but at least I am trying and the numbers are going down (however, slowly!).

I already have next month's goal....5 pounds and increase the intensity of my workouts.

I intended to start over in January, but gained 5 pounds instead. I'm serious about it now! No more putting it off...time to get serious and get back in shape!
