Default Starting again!

Hi Everyone! 15 pounds have crept up on me over the last year and I'm ready to get rid of them for good. I turned 40 last May and I'm determined to get rid of those 15 pounds by the time I turn 41. I'm not following any specific plan..just need to cut down my portion, cut out the wine and up the exercise! I teach a Spin class once a week and take Bikram yoga classes as often as possible (not at all lately). I've also added weight training for the first time ever..did an hour dvd yesterday and SORE today!

Sooo...here I start at 132.6, time to be accountable!

Good luck on your journey ...sounds like you have the active thing down well, so the portion control may be the key for you

Hi Spin Mom - Best of luck to you. Better to work off those creepy 15 lbs before they take over, I hear ya! I am kicking wine to the curb too, just not worth the calories. Keep us posted, I saw you over on the weekly chat so I am sure we will catch up there too!

I have been fighting with my weight for awhile now, but when I turned 40 1 1/2 years ago I really noticed the weight packing on. It is pretty frustrating to always have to worry about weight gain. Way to go getting the 15 lbs off before it become 30 or 40 like me!

Ok, this makes sense I think, hi everyone ... I am 42, I lost 60 pounds on NS a few years ago and gained them back. Now I am trying to do it on my own and still use the low glycemic index idea.

I've lost 3 lbs so far! yahoo..back in the 120's!! Off to Bikram yoga class now. SWEAT!
