New to 3FC and 40-Somethings

Hey!

I joined 3FC just a few days ago. I started a blog and am trying to do some sort of workout every day. I've done 4 successful days in a row.

Just wanted to pop in and say HELLO!! ;)

Welcome Mindy, read your comment on my blog. I found that by eating the right foods (I still eat pizza once in a blue moon) and working out - LOVE GOING TO THE GYM - I have lost weight (43 lbs in a little over a year) but it's not the number on the scale I go by because I don't look like I weigh 220ish and my sizes are getting smaller so I know I'm doing something right.

Have a GREAT DAY!

Ann Marie

Hello Mindy and welcome.

:welcome2: I remember when I found this site. I didn't know anyone. Wasn't sure if it was full of closed groups where I wouldn't feel welcome. Then someone said hello and another someone said hello. I found, in a very short time, the people here are friendly and so helpful. Everyone really cares how you are doing. They want to know the ups and well as the downs.

There are so many people here using different way to lose weight and keep it off. Everyone is ready to give a piece of advice, a kick in the pants or just a nice smile. Depending on what you need. I for one need the kick in the pants from time to time, husband is to supportive sometimes.

Read some of the posts, post yourself. We want to hear from you.

When you think you are doing it all alone. When there isn't a person in sight to support you. Remember, God is right there beside you. Usually yelling, put down that candy bar.

Thanks, guys!!

The weight is certainly coming off more slowly now than it did when I was in my 30's. I was also breast feeding at the time. WOW, was that a calorie burning boost.

I don't care how long it takes me to lose. I just want to get healthier and make exercise part of my daily life.
