Smile Hello Everyone~ Newbie Here

Hi Everyone, I am new to this board. I am going to be 43 this October, and am so tired of being 40, Fat and Out of Shape. I joined Bally's a couple of days ago, and have began exercising. I have broken my goals down to right now all I want is my lap back. No more stomach sitting on my lap. I will keep everyone posted to both hold myself accountable and hopefully to make some friends with shared goals. My husband is a body builder and teaches mixed martial arts so he is in wonderful shape. I did not join the same gym as him for those reasons, not trying to work out with him "advising" me. Any support offered would be appreciated.

Do you have a diet plan to use along with your exercise?

Right now I am just working on watching my portion size, trying to not eat high fat and eating small meals throughout the day. Not eating late at night before bed. I feel like I have been dieting for years and it has not worked, I have never tried exercising so I thought why not, give it a try. I do need to come up with some plan around food though. Thanks for the response.

I have found that no matter what I've tried as far as dieting goes, the weight doesn't come off like when I add exercise into my routine. Even if it's just walking/jogging 30 minutes a day. It really helps! I did WW about 5 years ago and lost 40 lbs (gained back 50 over the last 5 years unfortunately!). So this time, I'm just watching my calories and doing more exercise. And like you, trying not to eat at night. That's the hardest one for me to kick!

Good luck to you!
