Default Hi - I'm a Newbie

Hi everyone.

I'm Ketakat, I'm from the South West of England. I've just turned 40 last week and I'm afraid I'm 'fat and 40' which is something I promised myself I'd never be.

I'm following Weight Watchers points and core plan and had lost 19lbs, but then last summer I was diagnosed with post-natal depression and put on citalopram. In the last 10 months, I've put back on 10lbs - not goin well . I'm struggling and for some reason avoiding facing the facts and doing something about it

Welcome Ketakat! I hope you find some help here. I know that I have! Keep reading and keep posting. There are some great inspirations around as you'll soon see.

I don't think that any of us wanted to be 40 and fat, so we understand where you are coming from! These 40+ year olds are a fun and supportive group. Check out the thread "47 and No Idea". Lots of conversation there!

Welcome! I had planned on being fit at 40, but kept overeating so I'm still fluffy! Just turned 44 and am focused on my health goals which have to include losing extra weight. I think paying attention to what we're eating no matter which plan we're following will help us to achieve success!
