Default From 156 to 172, yikes!

Okay, I posted on this a little while ago and things seemed resolved when the scale started going down again, but it is not. In two weeks of calorie counting and a week of reintroducing running back into my regime (I had knee problems) my weight is staying up in the high 160s (I'm pms-ing right now, hence the 172). It seems to all be in my belly. With the exception of a pair of work pants that feel snug in the waist/seat now everything else fits fine (including my freshly washed jean shorts). I weighed 160 at the end of May and had gained 10lbs by the end of June. I'm in the same place at the end of July. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? The stress of it all is driving me batty and I just don't feel like myself.

stress in itself cause persons to gain weight at times (i do), take it easy and double check your food calories/portions. for a while I thought I was in my caloric range and then I realized that i was underestimating an item that did not show calries ( in Jamaica it is possible..lol). Please revisit the items you are eating or run against a fitday calorie checker. Alternatively, double check against a few calories calculators that you are eating enough calories as in some cases (mine) eating too little can cause weight gain as well. Good luck on your journey
