Default *Gasp* I'm almost normal!
I had just resigned myself the other day to the drudgery of taking my weight and measurements and figuring out how far I still have to go, as I do this every few weeks, when I noticed something absolutely crazy.

I am SO AGONIZINGLY CLOSE that I just have to call this a mini goal even though I am not technically there yet: I am two pounds away from having a normal BMI! TWO POUNDS! This from someone who used to be pretty darned obese...

When I realized that, I stared at myself in the mirror for a good ten minutes, pinching, lifting, rearranging... etc. and wondering if this is what "normal" people see when they look at themselves. I have so firmly ingrained into my self image that I am an obese person that to think that I am very nearly of a healthy weight almost blew my mind.

Sorry, but you're not almost normal....you are AWESOME!!!!

I KWYM with wondering what healthy weight people feel....I long for the day when I don't feel my body! Every jiggle, everytime I get into/out of the car, everytime there is a flight of stairs, to name a few.

woohoo! thanks for all the support! Unfortunately I have been celebrating a little too hard, as usual, and have gained back a couple of pounds... but nothing I can't deal with!
