Default Just carried the weight I have lost.

Wow, I just carried home a big heavy bag of fruits and veggies and decided to weigh myself holding the bag when I got home and I was just over my starting weight.

It is really hot out and it was really hard to carry 20+ lb extra and I have been doing some weight training so am stronger then I was 4 mons ago. No wonder I was always so tired!

Just a real reminder of how much easier moving around will be as I drop these pounds.

I absolutely love that accomplishment. I love that moment when we're holding something and realize that's what we've lost and how much it impacts our day without us even recognizing it! 20 lbs is a huge amount to be lugging around all day.

I love that you did that! Whenever people tell me they have lost weight I encourage them to go carry that much weigh in sugar, cat food... whatever. It is such a great reminder! Congratulations!

isn't it great? i have an overweight pug and in order to monitor his weight, i weigh him on the scale with me. it makes me feel sick to look at the number i am with him in my arms, but i take deep breaths and set him down and reweigh in order to reassure myself!

Makes me think how hard I was making my body work 100 lbs ago. I can't lift or carry anything near that heavy and yet my body had to handle that much every minute of every day. No wonder I preferred sitting to standing!

Haha. I did the same thing yesterday! It was so hot in Toronto, and I decide it's a good day to walk to the grocery store? Needless to say, after getting groceries and seeing the 3 overfull bags, I decided to take the subway home.

It's amazing how much weight our bodies can carry around without consciously realizing, huh?
