Talking I've lost a 4 year old!!!

I Just wanted to share- even though I still have 9 pounds until I'm halfway to my goal of 100 lbs. lost- it just hit me today- my daughter (who will be 4 in September) weighed 41 pounds last time I weighed her (about a month ago)- and as of today, I am down 41 pounds!!!! I can't imagine carrying my daughter around all day long, but WOW- I've been doing it for so long! When I get home today I am going to carry her around the house for a while (I'm sure she will think its hilarious!) just for visual reinforcement that I AM getting somewhere. 100 lbs. may be a big goal (and its not even my final goal! 150 is my final goal!) but every pound counts and adds up. I've effectively shed the equivalent of a 4 year old from my body. WOW. Thanks for reading!

That's fantastic! I have just gone into the cupboard where my partner keeps some weights he never uses, and tried to pick up the 12lb I've lost. Admittedly I'm a weakling, but I still couldn't hold them for very long. So I am sharing your amazement at the idea that we were carrying all that around - and you've lost three and a half times what I have!

Great job, lili!

You just made me realize that I've lost more than a Corgi - my little girl weighs 27 pounds, and my big boy weighs 37. I can't imagine carrying one of the pooches around all day!!

Wow, that's an awesome way to look at it!

DS will be 5 in Sept and is about 42 lbs! I am gonna keep track of his weight to see when I lose that amount...hopefully by the time he turns 5 I will have lost him!!

Good job and thanks for the inspiration!

I guess I'm lucky my kid is so skinny - I only need to lose another 25 lbs (plus the 20 already) and I'll have lost my 45 lb 7 year old! lol!

Congrats on your accomplishment!!!
