  • ilbnej: So what meal delivery service do you use? I have looked into that before but never really liked the food options (I am REALLY picky on veggies). Glad you are getting back on track. It does take time but like you said your size 22's are fitting better every day and THAT is what really matters. To see that progress is wonderful (especially when the scale is not moving).
Goodnuff: That sounds like a "maintain" to me too. YEAH!!! Hope you feel better soon. Bronchitis is NO fun!! Your high fluid intake will be great though!
Lynnie: Have fun with WATP. I like it for something different and not too exhausting. It also goes by fast.
My weekend is to go scrapbooking. I used to do it a lot but since having my daughter I only go once a year and this is it. So it will be fun and relaxing. May try to get in movie Monday too. :-)
  • TW: I order 5 dinners and lunches a week from a company in Florida called Healthy Chef creations. It isn't diet food but it is organic and nutrient oriented with about 200-250 cal lunches (usually salads or wraps) and about 450 cal dinners with a meat or veggie main and two veggie sides. - usually one starchy and one not. I get shipment once a week on Fridays. The meals are fresh, not frozen. And they are, in my opinion better than restaurant quality. Which is good because they are more expensive than restaurant meals too. But to me it is worth it bc they are so good and so convenient and they take the choice ours of it for me.

I like veggies, I do. But I don't like them enough to go out of my way for them. For years I've been saying I'd eat a lot more veggies if I had someone else to buy, prepare and put them in front of me. Well, now I do and it's great!

Probably the biggest thing I wish I could change (other than the price) is the wastefulness of all the packaging that is necessary to keep the food cool when shipped. But they know what they are doing. Even in the heat ths summer after sitting on my porch in the sun all afternoon, I haven't had any trouble with food temp. (and that would really stink after paying all that $$ to have spoiled food!

Wll, even though trop storm Don has been a dud ( just the tiniest bit of aib here this am), the weekend is off to a good start. I have already swum and am headed to breakfast and grocery shopping. I gotta get ready for my August wellness goal achievement!
  • Looks like I may just meet my first goal this month. Went for a walk today in the humidity and almost had heat stroke.
  • Great job on the walk...not on the almost heat stroke...lol!

-Walk 36 miles- NO MA'AM NOT EVEN CLOSE
    -Track everyday-DITTO
-Take two "me" days....no housework, driving, just me and a good book-KIND OF
-something to do with Geneen Roth's workbook, but I don't know if it's set up by days or chapters as it hasn't arrived yet-READ ONE OF HER BOOKS BUT NOT THE WORKBOOK

    Thankful for a new month!
