Missing my coffee w/cream...anyone found any options, is coffee mate fat free ok?
I'm really missing my coffee with cream, or milk or half&half....whatever it was as long as it made it light and tasty.... I used to used Skim Plus fat free half and half but was told it was not allowed.
I have tried the vanilla ready to drink shake in the coffee and even the vanilla pudding powder but its definetely not the same.
Does anyone have anything they found or suggestions.... I have been using for the past 2 days coffeemate fat free, its zero fat, zero sugar and only 1 carb...is that too bad?

My coffeemate (restaurant pack) says 15 Calories, 1.5 fat, 0 carb so I don't use it. I use 1 ounce of Lactose free skim milk. Dr Tran's book suggests Lactose Free. My sheet says:
Breakfast:
Begin Drinking Water
1 Ideal Protein Food
(Optional)
Coffee/Tea with
1 oz of Skim Milk
1 Natura Multi-Vita
1 Natura Potassium-
Calcium
*Sweetener
Permitted*
NO NO coffeemate is extremely bad for your system and the chemicals.. just use a little of the vanilla protein or skim milk. It won't be forever and you will feel amazing...
May I suggest the Vanilla Pure Protein RTD from Target. They are about $8 for 4, and they come in metal bottles that have a resealable lid. One lasts me about a week for my coffee... similar to IP Vanilla RTD, but is resealable.
I hated the skim milk and vanilla drink in my coffee too! (Even tho I LOVE the vanilla drink). I emailed my coach and she said I could use one individual sized creamer per day since I only drink the 1 coffee. Its worth asking your coach! I do that with sweet and low and its yummy
I use the vanilla RTD plus two stevia packets. It's definitely not the same, but nothing about this diet is the same as my old diet. That's the point right? I also frequent Starbucks and get a decaf Americano with sugar free vanilla syrup and splenda added. (their sf syrup is sweetened with splenda) I am surprised how used to almost black coffee I am now. I never would thought that would happen!
Isn't sweet and low saccharine? I just wanted to check in case you are accidently having a no-no. (I'm in no way the ip food police, please don't be offended)

Wow oh wow...love the new avatar...you look awesome!
I use vanilla RTD and a little lowfat half and half...3X a day
I was told my my coach that I could have 1/2 oz of half &half, but I was also told that I should drink an extra glass of water for each cup of coffee I drink. I have a question and would really appreciate some ideas. Do any of you have a good salad dressing that you make or one that you buy that you really enjoy? I usually love salad but I usually have sweeter dressings.

This is the perfect answer to that question. Thank you so much, I'm out of the RTD and was wondering the same thing, and you get 4 for the price of 1 1/2.
Now, if only there was a target in my town.
do you use any one the ff syrups in yours?

I also use these in my coffee. They are 4 for $5.99 at Target. They are also available at GNC and (I've heard) Walmart. I like that they are resealable. They also seem to mix better, in coffee, than the IP RTD's (no "sludge" in the bottom of the cup)! And, as you said, they last all week because it's a 12 ounce can.
I never, ever thought I would say this, because I used to have so much cream and sugar in my coffees that I would count them as a meal! But, it actually doesn't take THAT long to get used to drinking coffee black.
I've cut down from 7 cups a day to just one in the morning. Because of that, i can now afford to buy some very delicious organic coffee beans!
Also, buying a coffee (when I am out) for myself has become a treat on those days when i fancy something special.
