I am new here and in need of weight loss for my health!
I am 5'6", 32 and just had a baby last September and gained 70 pounds in that process. I was put on bed rest the last month due to high blood pressure and my weight was a factor.
Right now I am 203, (down from 236 at 9 months pregnant). I was around 165 when I originally got pregnant.
I did a 24 hour liquid juice fast over the weekend because I just felt "gross" and in a mental low, and must say, I have more energy and feel better just from that one day.
I am doing a low carb diet with a lot of grilled chicken and vegetables and fruits. I also plan to do a Zumba fitness class once a week for an hour.
I look forward to meeting many of you, posting, and reading.
Sounds like an excellent plan. But I am bias as I am all about low calorie/lower carb (not no carb, tho) and exercise. I find it sustainable, flexible and pretty simple.
