Default I HATE my job...Venting/Need advice..

My job is hourly+commision based.. and to make my commision I have to hit monthly goals, that reset every month, or I get NOTHING. If we're busy the money can be good.. But this month has SUCKED... And that is a big part of my income...

On top of that the 2 girls I work with just don't get along, and constantly talk about eachother, and some how I get stuck in the middle of it.

All in all it's stressing me out.. Obviously the solution is to get another job.. But I'm moving in August to another state. So I'm trying to decide wether I should stick it out.. Or try to find a summer job or something..

I just don't know what to do, I kinda just wanna cry at this point whenever I think about it!

I wish I could move sooner

I am sorry that you are having a tough time.
I would keep my eye out for a summer job, maybe check out a temporary service or something. Be sure to have something else lined up before you leave this job so you have some type of an income.
Best of luck!!

First, I love your avatar. That is a precious little kitty face.

Try and find another job. Don't tell them it is just for the summer until you are well into it. Many employers won't hire someone if they are going to leave in a few months. NEMom is right, maybe a temp. service is the answer.

I think I'd tell these two girls you don't want to hear it anymore- if they continue tell your boss you don't want to hear their whining and complaining anymore.

August is 3 months away- if you can't handle three more months then by all means look for something else. Your mental health is also important.

The job market is tough right now, so if you want to leave, make sure you have another job lined up before you go. There are always problems and issues in each job.
Are you in retail? No matter where you work in retail, you will always have goals to make in order to collect a bonus. Good luck with your choice.

I also love your avatar pic!! Too cute!

Keep your eye out for another job and look on the side, once you start getting interviews don't tell them you are leaving in august. Once you get the job quit your crummy job and volia you'll be happy the next 3 months. OR stick it out and ignore everyone around you and try not to let them bring you down.

JMPO, but if you're moving at the end of August, I'd say stick it out. And because I've "been there/done that" with hating a job - REALLY HATING IT - because of THE PEOPLE (not the actual work) - I'm here to preach to you about being happy in your work/job/the people you work with... there is no substitute! I've been at a job I love for over 5 years now. I WILL NEVER LEAVE. Happiness is often hard to come by; in a job (esp. these days!) even more so.

Naturally, no matter where you work, you're bound to run into at least one or two folks you just can't get on with. That's life! But someone once told me "get a job doing something you love & you'll never work a day in your life" - I took it for face value - they were right!

Good luck!! And think... August is only a couple months away...

I'm glad you removed your email. That did concern me. You got my first email and responded. Did you get the response to you?
