Those acrylic cups with straws
when I first started seeing them in stores, I thought...WHY? Well let me tell you, I actually decided I wanted one. $5 at Wal-Mart - you wouldn 't believe how much more water I drink in a day just because of the silly straw. Plus the lid screws on, so I don't feel like I am going to spill it all over my desk.
Try it ladies - it seems to work.

OMG!! I LOVE mine. I have one at home and one at work. And I am always taking it with me. Don't ask me why I drink more out of a straw, but I do!

I've been drinking out of those big McAlister's cups with the tops for years. Have no idea why the straw is more 'fun'! but it works. I bought one of the Walmart ones {red dots} to use outside when I garden but recently have started making protein shakes in them. Add milk to the powder, remove straw, screw lid on, cover strawhole with a finger and SHAKE!!! I like that they are double lined to keep the drink cooler!

Yep! I have 2 of them, one from Starbucks and one that's just clear from World Market. I love them! I drink lots more water and I really like that they fit in my cup holder (unlike my bigger straw cups.)
I read a study somewhere about how people will always drink more out of a straw if it's available. That's why a lot of restaurants are starting to only give straws if they're requested... it saves them money!

I have one that looks like a soft drink cup with straw, it's wicked! I fill it with almond milk & strawberries from the blender and sip it on the way to work. Barely 100 calories can't go wrong

What are these things you speak of? I am not sure I have ever seen one.
I just use a big insulated cup I got from the hospital when having my kids. I have two of the same and rotate

This is mine. But there are probably a million variations of the same idea.

My husband really wanted to get a pair of these for some reason. I asked him, "Why do we need plastic versions of the glasses we already have?" We happened to find some on sale, though, so we decided to get one for each of us.
LOVE these things!
They look nifty, they keep me from spilling stuff as easily, they have fun straws, they have lids that keep the cats from trying to drink my water, and they won't break--what's not to love? <3
