I first started taking phen approx
16 yrs ago. I LOVED it. There was no Rx in the world like it! I had an abundance of energy, my mouth stayed very dry most of the time (which I loved, b/c I drank water ALL the time), and I was able to stay up for a very long time.
The side effects that weren't so favorable was excessive insomnia, terrible crashing when it wore off--about 10 hrs later, and irritability. I was witchy!
But the benefit defo outweighed these side effects.
I lost a bunch of weight--the heavier you are, the more you lose at first on it.
I took it for about a yr the 1st time. I've been on it 2 more times since then. I've been addicted to it, then I finally began to be immune to it this last time. My last pill was at the end of March.
It was difficult to get off of when I was trying--before I became immune to it and it stopped working. I would try on my own to get off of it and have terrible withdrawals; like fatigue, loss of motivation, irritability, and sleepiness.
I loved it when it worked tho, and it really worked for me in the beginning of taking it. The MD said there was not a chance of me becoming addicted, b/c it didn't have narcotic or other addictive properties--but I was defo an addict!
I started 3FC and MFP (my fitness pal) on 4.7.11 and coupled a few old lifestyle behaviors I had let go, i.e weighing food, counting calories, dedication to exercise and have lost 4 lbs since 4.7, which may not seem like a great deal of weight, but it is when I only have 20 to lose!!
