I never listen to this type of music when I'm not working out, but it does the job while keeping me updated on what "the kids" are listening to nowadays.

Usher - More
David Guetta - Who's That Chick ? (feat. Rihanna)
Sean Kingston - Party All Night (Sleep All Day)
Ke$ha - TiK ToK
Lady GaGa - Born This Way
Cascada - Pyromania
Cee Lo Green - Forget You
Rihanna - S&M

Yes, I realize my playlist has a lot of break-up/I hate you so much songs - they make an awesome spinning soundtrack though!
F**k You - Cee Lo Green
The Take Over, The Breaks Over - Fall Out Boy
Chocolate - Snow Patrol
Dog Days - Florence & the Machine
I Don't Feel Like Dancing - Scissor Sisters
Ex-Girlfriend - No Doubt
Bulletproof - LaRoux
Semi Charmed Life - Third Eye Blind
Blue Eyed Baby - Leaona Naess
Divorce Song - Liz Phair
Born This Way - Lady Gaga (I know 3FC has some Lady Gaga haters so take this one for what it's worth)
Imma Be - Blackeyed Peas
Fighter - Christina Aguilera
Santa Monica - Everclear
Where Is My Mind - The Pixies
No Mans Woman - Sinead O'Connor
Extraordinary - Liz Phair
Stronger - Kanye West
Everyday I Love You Less and Less - The Kaiser Chiefs
Raise Your Glass - Pink
Airplanes - B.O.B.
I also listen to a lot of country (Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Sara Evans, Blake Shelton, Chris Young, Darius Rucker, Brad Paisley, etc...) for slower workouts or weight lifting.

I really like electronic/triphop/dreampop stuff to lose myself in during workouts. I like the pop stuff too, but a lot of times, I find myself listening to Daft Punk, Justice, LCD Soundsystem, Royksopp, and others.

I have slightly different tastes. Some of these are general public approved, others you might not want to seek out if you're light hearted.
Arcade Fire - We Used to Wait
The Black Keys - Howlin' For You
Iron Maiden - Run to the Hills
Lamb of God - Something to Die For
Megadeth - Hangar 18
Dethklok - Bloodlines
Slipknot - Psychosocial
Trivium - Into the Mouth of **** We March
