Default too fast?

I don't really want to ask this since I am afraid the answer is yes!

Do I lose too fast? I can't remember what WW is recommending. Here are my losses so far:

1/16/2011 237.0 start weight
1/23/2011 -4.0
1/30/2011 -3.1
2/6/2011 -2.2
2/13/2011 -1.3
2/20/2011 -2.6
2/27/2011 -2.9
3/6/2011 -0.2 (big dinner right before weigh in morning)
3/13/2011 -2.4
3/20/2011 -3.3

= 9 weeks / 22 lbs

If this is too fast, how do I it slow down?

Are you eating all of your points? Are you following the Good Health Guidelines? If so, I wouldn't worry about it. It might be a reaction to eating healthier, depending on how you ate before starting WW. Just make sure you are following the plan the way it was designed and enjoy this time. Eventually your weight loss will even out and you will pine for the weeks when you could lose 3lbs! :-)

I am a good girl and eat my points and very balanced. I was eating healthy before but way bigger portion sizes :-)
I am not hungry i.e. feel starved either. (Which is odd since TOM started today).
Thanks for your responses.

When I weighed in today, I had lost 3 pounds and when I logged it online, it popped up saying I was losing too much and that I needed to make sure I was eating all of my points and potentially add points. I know that they recommend a loss of 1-2 pounds a week after the first week.

I really think it's up to you. When I did WW several years ago, I know that I lost for the first month several pounds a week but then it slowed down.

Good luck!

I have a tendency to lose weight very quickly when I workout and eat sensibly. I believe I might actually *have* a fast metabolism, which would explain why my highest weight wasn't much higher..

Just go with it. As long as you feel good and you're not restricting yourself in a negative way, you're just lucky!

Keep doing what you are doing. It will naturally slow down as your weight gets lower. And nice job so far!

I actually am having similiar losses as you. I asked my doctor about it as I always heard the 1-2 pounds a week is better. She said that as long as I was eating a balanced diet and exercising that I should just say thank you to the scale for the larger numbers and it wasnt a concern at all. She said to me look at the numbers the contestants on biggest loser pull! So don't let those numbers bother you - celebrate them!!

by the way just noticed if you look at our start/current & goal weights we are very similiar that way too.
