It has been an interesting month. As I reside in Cairo, Egypt I haven't had much time to post seeing as I was dodging tear gas, gunfire and tanks, not to mention fleeing my home and adopted country.
Miss my 3FC friends and I am back on the horse. Didn't gain any weight during the last three weeks though! Revolution anxiety is an excellent weight loss tool.
Yikes, I had no idea you lived in Cairo! I'm sorry you had to flee; leaving home precipitously is a miserable ordeal, and I hope that you stay well and safe. Were you able to take much with you? One of the hardest things about having to leave home so suddenly is that constant sense of "Now where did I put that book down" only to realize it's hundreds of miles away. That sense of displacement is always a shock.
It really puts some other worries that some of us might have into perspective; we might think it's tough to go for a walk when the weather's nasty, but it is truly nothing compared to tear gas and gunshots.
Be safe and healthy--and congratulations on your maintenance, despite the alarming cause!
