So, it was impossible to ignore the bagginess anymore, and I picked up a few new things to wear this week. I'm making myself step outside my comfort zone by just a smidge - I'm trying the "fake it 'til you make it" thing with regards to self-confidence
I've got a cute cowl-necked sweater dress to wear with leggings and knee high boots, some "skinnier" jeans (not skin tight, but they make my legs look miles long if I wear boots - it's kind of crazy), and a few new tops...everything is fitted though. In addition, I have this staff t-shirt that was a teacher appreciation gift at the school I work at. It
was a men's 3X (too big to begin with), but I cut off most of the sleeves, made the neck wider, and cut off the side seams...I did that thing where you cut slits and then tie rows of knots down each side. The shirt is now looks fitted with ruching across the front and incredibly cute with a tank underneath, and I'm really looking forward to wearing it.
Still a bit nervous...still a bit uncomfortable with the compliments I've been getting without new clothes...will probably feel the urge to throw a super-giant sweatshirt over my head before the school day starts to cover myself up...but I'm making myself do it anyways
