Default plus size exercise clothes?

Just wondering where you find plus size exercise clothes? I have several unitards, but the store I bought them at went out of business.

I know about Junonia, but their prices are way out of my budget.

I could just wear shorts and a t-shirt, but feel better working out in "workout clothes." I can move around more easily (does that make any sense?)

I've tried Walmart , kmart and Target without any luck.

Why is it overweight people are told to exericse, but the above stores only sell TINY exercise clothes?

Thanks,
sherry

Sorry....can't be of much help. I've always had pretty good luck at K-Mart and WalMart, but maybe that's because there are lots of fat chicks in my neck of the woods!

i get an email from the skinny daily post every day, and one day she suggested that athletic jerseys are really good for workouts -- they breathe, they don't cling, they cover, and they come in huge sizes.

Yeah! I agree with Holly! I work out a lot in my Ole Miss football jersey, especially when it's hot. It's an XXL and it covers my big ol' behind pretty well.

Just My Size makes a good line of Plus-sized sports clothes - shorts and sports bras and such. I've found them at Walmart.

If you're talking about leotards and things like that, though, I don't know.

Hope that helps.

Target just had them on sale Sherry. They are under the brand name Moret. Best sports bra I ever bought--so when they were on sale I got 2 more & a tank top w/a built in bra. If they fit me, they will fit anyone. Their sizes go up to a 3X.

Default Mossimo clothes rule!

Mossimo at Target has a great line of exercise clothes.

BUT I encourage you to throw a temper tantrum whenever you see the same brand and style Mossimo Misses exercise clothes go on sale but the plus size stays the same price.

I find this to be a complete and utter outrage. It totally takes advantage of the fact that plus size exercise clothes are hard to find.

I'll have to go back to Target. I missed the Mossimo exercise clothes...I love their pants in that brand.

I get totally pissed when stores put the "regular' sized clothes on sale, but not the plus ones too!

There was a maternity store that did this-they only sold the plus sizes online, not in the store, and then only put the regular sized clothes on sale. Pissed me off!!

Sherry

Thanks for all your ideas. I really appreciate it. I'm mainly looking for unitards, but leggings/sports bras would also be great.
