Default I'm back, and Married (PIP) but much bigger :/

So, some people may remember me. I took awhile off here because I was up to my neck in wedding planning. Unfortunately through all the stress, I ended up gaining quite a bit of weight. Enough to have every Bride's worst memory come true. It was a week and half before my wedding, and my dress... didn't even go over my hips. I was devastated. Luckily, I got some emergency appointments to have my dress hacked and made to fit. They had to cut my train short and add side panels because there wasn't any time for anything else.

Here's a couple pics showing how it looked:

In the end, it actually turned out halfway decent, and unless you were really looking you couldn't tell!

So, despite my wedding dress freak out, things actually turned out pretty well, and now I'm married! Here's a couple with the hubby!

So, now that the wedding is over and things settled down for a few months I've finally got a plan to get back on track. Its not the "natural" track, but I'm really excited about it. More explanations on that can be found in my blog: http://worsthalfweightloss.blogspot.com/

So to those who remember me, thanks! And to those who don't I'm hoping to stick around for awhile so you will! :P

Hey congratulations! You were a beautiful bride and the wedding looks beautiful.
I had a similar wedding dress freak out as well. My dress didn't arrive until 2 weeks before the wedding and was a good 6 inches from zipping....I should have listened to my mother who told me dress sizes run smaller...oh well. But I found an excellent seamstress who fixed it...I'm thinking I might put that woman in my will one day!
I'm fairly new too (left and came back), so I'm looking forward to "starting" with someone too
Again, congrats!

Surprisingly my dress was pretty true to size. That is the size I was when I bought it! lol

And here's a few more from my wedding just because I'm a wedding ho and want to share lol:

Hey, as much as they cost, you are perfectly entitled to share wedding photos to complete strangers standing in line at the bank! Love the flowers! And because I am a cake ho, what type of cake was it? Because I'm thinking I want to make out with it.

The top 3 tiers were simple silver pound cake with butter creme frosting. 2 of the hearts were silver pound cake with strawberry filling (my fav), the other two were chocolate with cherry filling (hubby's fav). It was soooo good!

and yes, they cost a bundle - but they're SO worth it in the end!
