Default my legs are shrinking... yay!

This is a photo from Christmas day this year. It isn't the best angle (i never get good camera angles because of my height ) but I was really excited to see how much smaller my legs are getting. When I first looked at this photo, I thought that my right leg was what actually is both of my legs and my left leg was what actually is my sister's legs. I was wondering why on earth I was standing with my legs open like that when it hit me... that isn't my right leg... that is both of my legs! I haven't really seen any full or semi full body pics of myself since I started losing weight so I had no clue what my legs looked like right now... I am actually quite pleased with what I see so far I hope to love them even more in the next 20, 30, 50, 80 + lbs lost! Ps. I am now 10 lbs down from where I was when this pic was taken... and by the way, that is my sister in the pic with me(I didn't feel comfortable posting someone elses pic on the web without their permission thats why I blacked her face out). She is about a foot shorter than me. People can't believe we are siblings.. haha!

I have lost 115 lbs in a little over 6 months. It has been a pretty quick loss so far I have been calorie counting (sticking to 1200-1600 cals a day). Thanks so much for your kind words!

OMG that is so amazing!!!!!!! I was wondering if you might be my personal buddy to help me. I'm 48 and very motivated. I weigh 202 today and I'm going to Hawaii the third week of March and would really like to loose a lot of weight fast. I'll do whatever I have to. I see you lost a lot your first month even. Any tips you can give me would be appreciated. I could even pm you my cell number. You are my idol!

Aww... thanks! That means a lot! I am actually not any kind of expert on losing weight.... at all. Really, the only thing I have been doing is watching my calorie intake I am super strict with keeping my calories to 1200-1600 cals per day. I weigh out everything and count every bite. I walk a little but not much. I am going to add exercise in in a little bit. What made it easier for me was that I started at such a high weight. I lost a lot faster because my calorie deficit was so much greater than what a lot of people are able to create while staying in a healthy calorie range. If you want to pm me any questions you have I would be happy to answer. Good luck!! You can do it!!

That is wonderful!! You look beautiful.

I am counting each calorie as well, and my kitchen scale is my new best friend. Staying under 1500 calories per day.

In 9 days I managed to lose 6 pounds. I am sure I was carrying a ton of water weight. I started drinking 64 to 80 ounces of water each day, and that has made a huge difference. I gave up coffee, but switched to decaf green tea.

It is great to hear these success stories, I am hoping to reach my goal weight by May, and your story gave me confidence that it is possible
