Default Best day today
Today is the first day since I started Atkins that I haven't had cravings or felt excessively hungry (which I imagine is just sugar withdrawals.) All I have had today is 2 boiled eggs for breakfast. It is now Noon and I know I need to eat some more, so I am going to force myself to have a salad.

When I first started (5 days ago) I wasn't sure that I would ever get to the point where I just didn't want to eat. But 5 short days later I am there!

Just wanted to share what I considerer a milestone in my journey -I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year!

That's great news, Beckyh. It's one of the best things about Atkins; those cravings do go away if we let them.

Congratulations!!!

This is a huge leap for me too. When eating low-fat/low-calorie, I had to eat five times a day because I would get too hungry between meals (of course, since I was counting calories, eat meal or snack could not contain many calories). Now, I am eating three meals a day and often not so hungry at meal time.

Awesome! I love hearing things like this. There is a light at the end of the tunnel I am still in cravings and always hungry mode......
