Default South Beach Online

Hi everyone!

Like many, I'm wanting to make some major changes in my weight and health for 2011. I've read through The South Beach Diet... Super Charged book and I'd like to commit to it.

I don't want to set myself up for failure. I can be extremely busy during the week -- I need quick, reasonably on-the-go breakfasts, and lunches to pack. I think planning my meals in advance is essential.

So, I was wondering if any of you have used the SB online tools and how valuable it was? $5/week isn't cheap (i'm a student), but my health is worth it if it's actually helpful.

Thanks in advance for your help, and wish me luck on this journey! Hope to chat with many of you in the forum in the near future!

'Shelflife',

Hello and

I too am a college student and money is certainly hard to come by for extras, but your very right in saying your health is worth it! That's a big step in the right direction. Another great step you have going for you is coming in with information from the most updated version of the diet; The South Beach Super Charged. You know this is a lifestyle.
In my opinion, don't use the 5/week. If you have that excess save it for a reward when you reach a mini-goal or even an ultimate goal! I can tell you from experience, you have all the support you need here. The people are amazing and you will get feedback from people who are in situations similar to yours. Just make sure you have the things you need for the SB way of life at home and get rid of temptations. I know this is hard because I live with my boyfriend who likes to indulge in temptations so they are around the apartment. If you can get rid of it all!
Short answer being, no, don't spend the money. You have the best group of support on 3fatchicks.

Good luck in your weight-loss and maintenance! You got this!
